How should the Regents amend the attached 24-month calendar to reflect work required in Article VII attached?

Proposed Handling

This question will come before the EMSC-VESID and HE-PP committees at the February 2007 meeting.

Background Information

The attached 24-month calendar reflects discussions with the co-chairs of the EMSC/VESID, HE/PP and CE Committees. The items listed represent major policy discussions and decision points and correspond to Board priorities including the P-16 and Strategic plans. Article VII reflects many of the same priorities. Article VII has not been adopted in the budget process. However the schedule contained in that document moves quickly. The Committees should review the documents to identify opportunities to calibrate the Regents policy calendar with the Article VII schedule.

Timetable for Implementation

Final calendar will come before the Policy Integration and Innovation Committee in March for approval.
