Advisory Council on Libraries.

Procedural History
The members of the Regents Advisory Council on Libraries are appointed by the Regents for five-year terms.
The Regents Advisory Council on Libraries advises the Board on issues concerning library policy, works with the officers of the State Education Department in developing a comprehensive statewide library and information policy, and makes recommendations to the Regents for implementing library programs and initiatives.
Recommendation
I recommend that Leonard D’Amico be
appointed and Samuel Simon, who had previously filled an unfulfilled term for
two years, be reappointed to the Regents Advisory Council on Libraries beginning
October 1, 2005 and ending September 30, 2010.
