Should the Board of Regents approve the registration of seven nonpublic high schools?
Required by State statute.
Proposed Handling
This question will come before the full Board on July 21 for action.
Procedural History
The Board of Regents annually takes action on the registration of nonpublic high schools.
Nonpublic schools that have a senior class for the first time submit an Application For Nonpublic Secondary School Registration and are visited by a staff member from the Office for Nonpublic Schools. Approved registration of a nonpublic high school allows the school to issue valid diplomas and administer State examinations on-site, and the school becomes a member of the University of the State of New York.

VOTED: That the following schools, which participated in the 2004-2005 nonpublic high school registration program, be registered:
