The Adult Career and Continuing Education Services (ACCES) Committee held its scheduled meeting on January 13, 2025. All members were present. 

Chancellor Lester W. Young, Jr., Regents Frances G. Wills, Adrian I. Hale, and Patrick A. Mannion, and Seema Rivera (participated remotely) also attended the meeting.

MATTERS NOT REQUIRING BOARD ACTION

Proposed Amendment of Section 3.2(a)(6) and 3.2(d)(6) of the Rules of the Board of Regents Relating to a Standing Committee Name Change - Department staff discussed a proposed regulatory amendment to the Rules of the Board of Regents to change the name of the Board of Regents Adult Career and Continuing Education Services (ACCES) Committee to the Special Education and ACCES (SE-ACESS) Committee.

Reasonable Accommodations for Postsecondary Students with Disabilities - Department staff discussed results of a survey of reasonable accommodation practices of institutions of higher education.

Deputy Commissioner Ceylane Meyers-Ruff reviewed the item on the Consent Agenda.
