The Higher Education Committee held its scheduled meeting on December 11, 2023. All members were present except Regent Catherine Collins and Regent Susan W. Mittler who were excused. Chancellor Lester W. Young, Jr., chaired the meeting in their absence. 

MATTERS NOT REQUIRING BOARD ACTION

Overview and update of the Professional Standards and Practices Board for Teaching - Department staff presented an overview of the Professional Standards and Practices Board for Teaching (PSPB), including the Board’s roles and responsibilities and the work undertaken during 2023. 

Deputy Commissioner William Murphy reviewed the items on the Consent Agenda.
