Presentation on Adaptive Learning. Your Committee heard a presentation from Dr. Ulrik Juul Christensen on Adaptive Learning. The focus of the presentation was on how individuals learn and how we can use technology to support and enhance that learning. Dr. Christensen discussed his research of the mechanisms individuals use to learn and recall new information, how quickly they can do this, and how we know when an individual has been overcome with new information and needs to break from the learning activity.

Legislative and Budget Priorities. Your Committee reviewed and discussed the proposed 2015 State and Federal Legislative Priorities and the 2015-16 State Budget Priorities. These priorities are scheduled to be approved at the November 2014 Board Meeting.
