Accreditation Training
to
The Board of Regents

Training in the Institutional Accreditation Process: The Board of Regents and the Commissioner are recognized by the US Secretary of Education as an institutional accrediting agency. This training is required by the Secretary and the Federal standards under which we operate as an accrediting agency, as it supports an informed and consistent decision-making process.
This public training session was held on Monday, June 18, 2012 in the Regents Room. In attendance were: Chancellor Tisch, Vice Chancellor Bottar, Regents Dawson, Cashin, Norwood, Cea, Jackson, Tallon, Cottrell, Tilles, Brown, Young, Chapey and Phillips, Commissioner King, Executive Deputy Commissioner Grey, Deputy Commissioner D’Agati, Assistant Commissioner Stephanie Wood-Garnett, and Barbara Meinert. The presenters were Paul Thompson and Kathleen Egan.
