Issue for Decision
Approval of a $500,000 grant to The University of the State of New York Regents Research Fund from the Amy and Larry Robbins Foundation.
Reason(s) for Consideration
This grant from the Amy and Larry Robbins Foundation is awarded to support the Regents Research Fund Fellowship Program. The Fellowship will provide supplemental expert personnel to assist in the design of the initiatives essential to the Board of Regents and NYSED Reform Agenda. This critical Reform Agenda support will enable identification and retention of Regents Research Fellows who will be responsible for critical research and analysis to advise the Board of Regents and Department on policy and subsequent implementation.
