            Your Higher Education Committee and P-12 Education Committee held a joint meeting on March 8, 2011.  All members were present except for Vice Chancellor Cofield and Regent Brooks Hopkins, who were excused.

MATTERS NOT REQUIRING BOARD ACTION

           
Options for Teacher and Principal Evaluation – The Committees received an update on decisions and options for consideration for teacher and principal evaluation.  Staff presented options for value-added/growth models and other measures of effectiveness.  The Regents Task Force on Teacher and Principal Effectiveness will provide recommendations and feedback on options in April.
