Recommendation

MOVED, that the list of Regents meeting dates for the period January � December 2006 is approved.

Timetable for Implementation

Effective January 2006.

The following recommended list of monthly meeting dates for 2006 is submitted for your consideration.

The schedule continues the current policy of two-day meetings, with the exception of July. It also spaces meetings approximately five weeks apart, reducing the number of meetings in the year from eleven to ten, with no meetings scheduled in August and November.

In developing this schedule special consideration has been given to religious observances, State holidays, school vacation periods, the NASBE Annual Conference and constituent organization meetings.
